Wizard101 Birthday

That seems more like a reverse birthday...giving away presents!  Those of you who started Wizard at the very start may find you have a Pioneer dragon mount gifted to your account.  Those who joined around the first year get a Frontier dragon mount.  So if you see people zipping around on dragons you know they're probably old timers.

Thinking about birthdays I kinda have a way of skipping my own.  Valerian's School is 4 years old as of March.  So, I'm just past my terrible twos, tyrannical threes and into the frightening fours!

We look forward to many more years of Wizard...

House a Palooza

We just returned from a nice vacation at 12,000 feet above sea level in Colorado.  It was so awesome and a little cold but worth it for the mountain views and beautiful lakes.  We rented a boat, fished and got totally soaked by big waves as the wind got really strong.  The fish were unfortunately hiding but we saw a Moose and her calf walking about 25 yards away.  We were glad to not be in her way.  Moose don't like people getting too close.  It just about killed me that there was no cell signal to speak of.  Which meant even when I snuck a moment away with my tech that it didn't work so we were effectively tech free despite my attempts to get online and post.

Aside from the poor cell signal, chilly mornings and lots of rain, more than a few conversations started with: "we should move here."  I think that's a perfect lead in for House a Palooza.
